AboutThe Role
As a Nursery Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely transport of freshly prepared meals from our central kitchen to multiple nursery locations. You will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth delivery of nutritious food to support the children's daily care.

What does the role involve?- Collecting and delivering prepared meals to various nursery locations on a set schedule.
- Ensuring food is transported safely in accordance with food hygiene and safety regulations.
- Assisting with the loading and unloading of food containers.
- Maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the delivery vehicle.
- Following all road safety laws and driving regulations while on duty.
- A full, clean UK driving license.
- Previous experience as a delivery driver (experience in food transport is a plus).
- A good understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Reliability, punctuality, and excellent time‑management skills.
- A friendly, professional attitude and strong communication skills.
- Ability to handle light lifting and loading of food containers.
- Hold (or be willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service. If you don't yet have one you'll need to cover the cost.
- Be eligible to work in regulated roles - not on the Children's Barred List.
- Successfully complete background and reference checks.
