Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Wimborne to recruit a talented Religious Education Teacher for a full-time, fixed-term position for the full academic year. • Deliver engaging and thought-provoking Religious Education lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Inspire students to explore a range of religious, ethical and philosophical perspectives.
• Create an inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued and encouraged to succeed.
• Plan, prepare and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Contribute positively to the wider life of the school.

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Has experience teaching Religious Education within a secondary school setting.
• Demonstrates excellent classroom management skills.
• Is passionate about promoting tolerance, understanding and respectful discussion.
• Has high expectations of student achievement and behaviour.
• Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
