An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Administrative Assistant to join a specialist educational provision supporting young people with additional learning needs.
We are searching for a proactive and dependable individual who possesses relevant administrative experience and can make an immediate contribution to a dedicated support team.
This full-time post requires someone who is comfortable working in a dynamic environment, managing a variety of responsibilities and maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
The OpportunityThe successful candidate will provide vital operational assistance across the setting, helping ensure that staff, learners and stakeholders receive outstanding administrative support.
- Handling day-to-day office operations
- Managing incoming and outgoing communications
- Updating internal systems and student information
- Scheduling meetings and preparing documentation
- Supporting safeguarding and compliance processes
- Maintaining electronic and paper-based records
- Liaising with professionals, parents and external services
- Assisting senior staff with organisational tasks
- Monitoring supplies and supporting office coordination
We would love to hear from applicants who have:
- Administrative experience within education or a similar sector
- Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills
- Strong literacy, numeracy and computer skills
- The ability to work independently whilst remaining collaborative
- A flexible approach and excellent problem-solving capabilities
- Confidence managing competing priorities
- The expertise to step straight into the role with minimal supervision
Experience with in SEN schools, alternative provisions or specialist colleges would be highly beneficial.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
