GCSE English & Maths Tutor Required - BH14
Support Students Working Towards GCSE Success

We're looking for a GCSE Tutor to support children and young people in the BH14 area through personalised 1:1 tuition.

Working on behalf of Local Authorities
, you'll provide tailored support to learners who require alternative educational provision. We're particularly interested in hearing from tutors who can deliver GCSE English, GCSE Maths, or both subjects
.

Many of the students we support benefit from a personalised approach that helps build confidence, close learning gaps, and improve engagement with education.

Location: BH14

Subjects: GCSE English and/or GCSE Maths

Hours: Flexible

Pay Rate: 25- 30 per hour

Type: 1:1 Tuition

• Minimum 6 months' experience delivering tuition or teaching within an educational setting
• Experience teaching or tutoring GCSE English and/or GCSE Maths
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging, personalised lessons
• Strong subject knowledge within your specialist area
• Experience supporting learners with SEND, EHCPs, or additional needs is desirable
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Patient, adaptable, and learner-focused approach
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
• Driver preferred; alternatively, willingness to travel locally within the BH14 area

You’ll work with children and young people who may have:

• Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
• Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
• ADHD
• Anxiety and school avoidance
• EHCPs and additional educational needs
