Night Support Worker No Personal Care

Location:

Cranborne Salary: £28,141.75 £ 30,689.75 / £12.37 £ 13.49 per hour  £25 per night shift (approx. £4,000 extra per year)

Contract:

Permanent, Full-Time

Hours:

7.45pm8.15am, 4 on / 4 off rota (average 43.75 hours per week) About the Role Our client support young people aged 1625 with additional social, emotional, autism and mental health needs, helping them build confidence, independence and the skills they need for adult life. Were now looking for a Night Support Worker to join their residential team and provide overnight support within on?site

homes. There is no personal care involved. This is a rewarding role where youll make a genuine difference to the lives of young people as they prepare for their next steps in education, training or employment. What Youll Be Doing Receiving a full handover from the day team before supporting students with their evening routines Encouraging participation in hobbies, sports and activities both on and off site Using verbal and visual prompts to help young people settle for the night Being a calm, supportive presence and a listening ear after a busy day Providing reassurance, emotional support and ensuring any health or medical needs are met overnight Acting as a key point of contact for parents and carers Helping students develop independence skills such as cooking, budgeting, housekeeping and accessing the community

What Were Looking For No previous experience is required full training is provided. Youre likely to be someone who can demonstrate: A positive, creative and engaging approach Confidence supporting young people with independence skills The ability to encourage, prompt and provide social/emotional support An understanding of what good care looks like and how to put young people first A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle (rural location) Due to the age of the students, applicants must be 21 or over
