An established precision engineering manufacturer in Dorset is looking to recruit an experienced CNC Miller to join its growing machine shop team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled machinist with strong offline programming experience who is looking for long-term career development within a busy and varied manufacturing environment.

The Role
As a CNC Miller, you'll play a key part in the production of bespoke precision-engineered components for commercial and industrial applications.
Your responsibilities will include:

Offline programming for CNC milling machines.
Setting and operating 3-axis CNC milling machines.
Working with Siemens and Haas controls.
Manufacturing precision components to tight tolerances.
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
Machining a variety of materials.
Supporting efficient production within a busy engineering environment.

What They're Looking For

Previous experience as a CNC Miller or CNC Programmer.
Strong offline programming experience.
Experience setting and operating CNC milling machines.
Ability to read and work from engineering drawings.
Experience machining precision components to tight tolerances.
Confidence working with a range of materials.
A proactive approach and an interest in long-term career progression.
