Community mental health nurse

We are excited to recruit a registered Mental Health Nurse to join the Wimborne Adult CMHT team.

• Provide specialist care, interventions, assessments, treatments and manage patients on a caseload as part of a multi‑disciplinary team.
• Deliver high‑quality, person‑centred care that considers safety, privacy and dignity.
• Support clinical work and professional development, working closely with the Team Leader and other members of the integrated team.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, mental health practitioners and support workers to provide comprehensive service.

• Registered Mental Health Nurse.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise work.
• Experience working in a community mental health environment (useful but not essential).
• Ability to apply engagement and recovery philosophies to service users.
• Good level of IT literacy.
• Valid driving licence and use of a car required to assess and monitor patients in homes and other community settings.
• Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check required – the Trust will cover the cost.
• No visa sponsorship is available; applicant must hold a valid right to work in the UK.
