The Relief Security Officer provides security services across multiple sites as needed, ensuring protection of people, property and assets.

• Control access, monitor alarms and CCTV, prevent unauthorised entry.
• Conduct internal and external patrols.
• Report safety or security hazards.
• Manage keys, respond to incidents and follow assignment instructions.
• Promote health & safety standards, report hazards and near misses, complete accident reports.
• Operate radios, pagers and other security equipment, conduct stop/search procedures when required.
• Record suspicious activities and provide excellent customer service to staff and visitors.
• Complete logs and reports accurately, adhere to company policies and management instructions.
• Represent Securitas values of Integrity, Vigilance and Helpfulness.

• Valid SIA licence, right to work in the UK, age 18+.
• Five‑year checkable work history and no criminal convictions.
• Flexible availability including days, nights and weekends.
• Good communication and customer service skills, ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Valid UK driving licence and vehicle.
• Previous security officer experience.
