RoleLecturer – BA (Hons) Accounting & Finance programme. Flexibility to teach during weekdays, evenings and weekends.
What you'll be doingDeliver management related modules, develop comprehensive course materials, undertake all aspects of learning, teaching and assessment, keep up to date with latest developments.
Responsibilities- Planning, delivering, and assessing student work to achieve learning outcomes.
- Developing, updating, and improving course materials.
- Using a variety of learning and teaching methods/materials.
- Engaging in staff development activities, peer observations, meetings and administrative duties.
- Staying up to date with latest developments in the field and student support practices.
- Working toward objectives for student attendance, continuation, completion, satisfaction and progression.
- Master's degree in a relevant subject area (PhD desirable).
- Previous UK HE lecturing experience in the wider subject area.
- Extensive knowledge of relevant subject matter.
- Experience supervising student work and providing support and feedback.
- Accurate reporting and thorough, organised student records.
- Ability to work under pressure, plan and prioritise workload to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and team‑working skills.
- Ability to work with diverse groups of people.
- Postgraduate Certificate of Academic Practice or equivalent teaching qualification, or commitment to enrol on a teaching programme during probationary period and complete within three years, or Fellowship of HEA or international equivalent.
- Experience in design/development of academic or professional education programmes.
