Radius Vehicle Solutions are hiring a Driver‑Valeter to join the passionate & successful Wincanton location on a full‑time basis. The role involves preparing, delivering, and collecting rental and lease vehicles to and from customers.
Job Responsibilities- Cleaning and preparing a mix of vehicles – from small cars to large 7.5T trucks – for their rental journey with our varied customer base.
- Conducting 22‑point safety & pre‑rental inspections, taking ownership of vehicle hygiene and readiness.
- Reporting vehicle defects – such as dashboard warnings, service schedules, and wear & tear – to rental administrators for workshop attention.
- Experience driving commercial vehicles (LWB panel vans, dropside tippers, Luton boxes) – our business model is 80% vans.
- A professional & caring approach to customer service, as you will be frontline to our loyal customer base.
- Adaptability to changing workloads in line with customer and internal requirements.
- Ability to understand and adhere to new information as it comes in, such as new vehicle deliveries and collections added throughout the day.
- Good general understanding of geography and road networks within the South West area.
- Full Driving Licence held for a minimum of 2 years, with no more than six penalty points within the past 2 years.
