Pay: £12.75 per hour

Shifts:

06:00 – 14:00 / 14:00 – 22:00

gap personnel are recruiting for Production Operatives to join a busy manufacturing site in Wincanton. This is a hands-on role, supporting the day-to-day filling and packing operations, ensuring high-quality output, efficiency, and adherence to safety and hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate machinery safely and efficiently, performing routine checks and maintenance.
Monitor production materials, packaging, and labels to minimise waste.
Carry out quality checks and report any deviations promptly.
Complete production paperwork accurately, including downtime and quality logs.
Liaise with colleagues across filling and packing departments to maintain smooth operations.
Maintain housekeeping, hygiene, and equipment standards.
Follow all health, safety, and company policies.
Candidate Requirements:

Previous dairy or production experience preferred.
Ability to work rotating shifts and follow production plans.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Team player with good communication skills.
Willingness to work in a fast-paced, physically active environment.
