Location: Henstridge
The Role
BCA Automotive is looking for a Vehicle Fabricator / Semi Skilled to join our team at our Henstridge Depot.
You will be responsible for ongoing repairs and modifications to our existing fleet, with occasional.
Involvement in larger fabrication projects. Reporting to the Head of VMU Operations.
Your key responsibilities will include- Fabricating steel components
- Welding steel and aluminium (various thicknesses and grades)
- Grinding, cutting and carrying out structural repairs
- Ensuring compliance with company Health & Safety standards
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
- Previous experience repairing/fabricating truck bodies and trailers
- Time served / qualified welder-fabricator
- MIG welding experience (essential)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full UK Driving Licence
