Location:
Ditcheat, Somerset (Site Based)
Salary: £28,000–£32,000 per annum
We're looking for a Customer Quality Technologist or Technical Administrator to join my clients Quality team at their Ditcheat site.
This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in food manufacturing, specifications, artwork or technical administration, or for a Food Science / Food Technology/ Nutrition graduate with some industry experience who is looking to develop a career in food quality.
The Role - You'll support the Customer Quality Manager by:
· Preparing and maintaining product specifications.
· Managing artwork approvals.
· Completing customer questionnaires and responding to quality queries.
· Preparing QA documentation and maintaining quality records.
· Carrying out packaging checks, hygiene inspections and internal audits.
· Supporting compliance with food safety, quality and retailer standards.
About You - You'll have:
· Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
· Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel.
· Strong communication skills.
· The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Previous experience in a food manufacturing or technical environment is desirable, along with knowledge of specifications, artwork or retailer portals, although full training will be provided.
