• Oversee and assist all aspects of nursing care/activities within the home.
• Create and update individual care plans for residents, maintaining clear, accurate and up‑to‑date medication records.
• Ensure adequate staffing levels through efficient management of rotas.
• Provide day‑to‑day support and guidance to the team, promoting residents’ independence, choice and dignity.
• Build lasting relationships with residents and the people who care about them, fostering a sense of community.
• Build strong relationships with local partners, liaising to raise the care home’s profile locally and beyond.

• Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin.
• Commitment to adhering to NMC Codes of Conduct and ongoing professional development.
• Up‑to‑date knowledge of tissue viability, infection control and care planning.
• Effective communication to build strong and honest relationships with residents and families.
• Natural leader to mentor team, delegate effectively, promote excellent customer service.
• Excellent time‑management and workload prioritisation.
• Respectful and compassionate team player who gives personal best.
