Manufacturing Engineer, Aerospace Components Base pay range

$/yr - $/yr

We’re seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to support a well‑established, highly technical precision manufacturing environment specializing in build‑to‑print aerospace components. The facility uses advanced 5‑ and 7‑axis CNC milling machines to create complex, tight‑tolerance parts in a high‑mix/low‑volume setting.

This is a chance to grow with a company that has been operating for over 75 years, working in a clean, high‑tech environment where CNC machining, complex milling, and continuous improvement are at the forefront of precision manufacturing. You’ll be focusing on advanced airfoil products (blades/vanes) supporting major aerospace customers like Space

X, Pratt & Whitney and many more.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, optimize, and maintain manufacturing processes for CNC machined parts, focusing on complex, multi‑axis milling.
  • Collaborate with customers and internal teams to translate designs and specifications into practical machining solutions, including quoting and production planning.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and 5S methodologies.
  • Work hands‑on with equipment on the production floor to troubleshoot, support, and improve processes and throughput.
  • Participate in new product introduction (NPI) and process improvement projects.
Qualifications
  • Extensive CNC machining experience; 5‑axis and/or 7‑axis milling preferred.
  • Programming exposure with Mastercam or NX is essential; experience with similar advanced CAM software also considered.
  • Experience in high‑mix, low‑volume manufacturing environments.
  • Aerospace sector experience and airfoil component familiarity are preferred but not required. Strong machining fundamentals are prioritized.
  • Hands‑on, collaborative attitude with willingness to be on the production floor.
