DescriptionAre you looking for a career as a Hyperbaric Technician? We are looking for you to become a part of Clark Regional Medical Center's Wound Care Program. We are currently seeking a Hyperbaric Technician to add to our team.
Responsibilities- Under the direction of a physician, performs hyperbaric oxygen therapy on approved patients
- Reports to Wound Care Program Director
- Operates and monitors hyperbaric chamber and other hyperbaric support systems
- Observes patient during the course of oxygen treatments
- Accurately documents patient condition and the administration of care in a timely manner
- Contributes to a culture of patient centered care by ensuring a quiet healing environment
- Communicates and interacts with patients, families and others in a caring, empathetic, courteous and respectful manner
- Performs necessary maintenance to systems daily
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent, required
- Graduate from paramedic or emergency technician or respiratory therapy, or hyperbaric technician program.
- Minimum 12 months experience in hyperbaric environment
