Clark Regional Physicians Practices

• Greets patients and families at physician practice front window, collecting patient demographic and insurance information, patient visit co-pay and deductibles at Point of Service. Quickly and efficiently expedites the practice visit registration process. Provides a positive first impression of the physician practice to the public
• Reports to Director of Physician Practice
• Ensures that all necessary demographic, billing, and clinical information is obtained and entered in the registration system with timeliness and accuracy
• Distributes and explains forms, documents, and educational handouts to patients and/or family members
• Verifies insurance benefits and obtains precertification/authorization as necessary. Follows physician practice revenue cycle guidelines to determine and accept required payments, including co-pays and deductibles

• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent, required
