Overview

Infiltrator Water Technologies (IWT) is a market leader within the onsite wastewater treatment industry. IWT manufactures a variety of revolutionary products and innovative, environmentally friendly alternatives to traditional stone and pipe leachfield and concrete septic wastewater system components. IWT is a wholly owned subsidiary of Advanced Drainage Systems (ticker: WMS, NYSE).

The majority of our products are produced almost entirely from recycled resins. Infiltrator’s recycling operation is among the country’s top twenty producers/consumers of recycled resins, and we consume 100% of that resin in the finished products produced. Infiltrator operates some of the largest molding machines and robotics, producing the largest plastic molded parts in the world. IWT has always and continues to compete on innovation;

we hold over 200 patents.

Responsibilities

2-2-3 schedule on A shift

Position Overview:

In this role, you will be responsible for transferring material from the tanker to the molding silo and will work closely with supervision and drivers on material movements.

Job Duties:

  • Connecting transfer lines to tanker and pump
  • Connecting transfer line from pump to silo
  • Re-check to ensure silo hoop-ups are correct
  • Start transfer pump
  • Adjust valves on tanker, when necessary
  • Open first bin on tanker to start transfer of material
  • Only one bin can be pumped off at a time
  • Once bin is empty, close off valve and move to the next bin
  • Once all 4 bins are empty, open all valves to ensure tanker is cleaned out and verify all 4 bins are empty
  • Close all bin valves on tanker
  • Turn off transfer pump
  • Unhook transfer line from tanker and pump
  • Unhook transfer from silo
  • Verify and complete paperwork that tanker is empty
  • Check work area and bottom of silos for any spillage or pellet residue
  • Notify driver tanker is empty and ready for pick‑up
  • Perform other duties/tasks as assigned
Qualifications
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Must have a good attitude and willingness to learn
  • Must be able to work in inclement weather
  • Self‑motivated – can complete work/tasks with little supervision
