The Freeman Corporation is a large, family‑owned wood veneer manufacturer based in Winchester, KY. We employ approximately 200 people across three shifts at this facility and continue to invest heavily to be the supplier of choice to the top producers worldwide of flooring, doors, hardwood plywood, furniture, cabinets, and other industries.

Job Description

We are seeking skilled Industrial Electricians to join our team and contribute to our continued success. Positions are available on first, second, and third shifts. At Freeman, we foster a culture of safety and teamwork. The ideal applicant must have good communication and people skills, experience in an industrial manufacturing environment, and possess mechanical and electrical knowledge. Hourly rate will be commensurate with skills, experience, and potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and replace electrical components such as motors, sensors, transformers, and circuit breakers.
  • Repair PLCs, Frequency Drives, and related electronic hardware.
  • Install and maintain conduit systems, wiring, and control panels.
  • Use wiring diagrams to plan and execute electrical repairs and installations.
  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to identify and resolve electrical issues.
Qualifications
  • Proficiency with electrical circuits, schematics, and servo motors.
  • Experience with 460 V 3‑phase wiring and industrial automation systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • High school diploma or GED and preferably 5 years of related experience.
  • Fluently read and speak English.
