As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll be a vital part of our high‑performing team, ensuring that our equipment and systems operate efficiently, safely, and in full compliance with cGMP standards.

This role is ideal for mechanically inclined individuals who thrive in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment and take pride in keeping operations running at their best.

• Troubleshoot + repair equipment
• Preventative + predictive maintenance
• Support sustainable operations
• Mentor new techs
• Keep us moving, safely + efficiently
• Complete preventive maintenance and emergency repairs to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot and repair process equipment, utilities, and facility systems—motors, pumps, valve manifolds, chillers, compressors, HVAC, boilers, and more.
• Accurately document all work, PM records, and system logs.
• Proactively recommend improvements to systems and equipment to boost efficiency, safety, and reliability.
• Maintain a cGMP‑compliant workspace and uphold all safety protocols.
• Perform hands‑on tasks such as rebuilding pump seals, centrifuges, and pellet mills.
• Independently follow LOTO procedures for all maintenance work.
• Train and mentor developing Maintenance Technicians.
• Participate in validation, qualification, and housekeeping audits.
• Consistently follow and uphold all company maintenance policies and procedures.
• Able to lift over 50 lbs, stand/walk for long periods, and perform physical tasks such as crouching, kneeling, reaching overhead, and climbing ladders or stairs.
• Must wear required PPE and operate safely around noise, dust, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to hear alarms and distinguish speech in a production environment.
• Good near/distance/peripheral vision to safely complete tasks.

• 2+ years industrial or manufacturing experience preferred
• Mechanically inclined + detail oriented
• Knowledge of LOTO, cGMP a plus
• Strong time management
• High school diploma or GED required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and CMMS systems
• Strong time management, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Must be able to work 12‑hour shifts (days/nights), including weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
• Some travel may be required between Danimer sites for training

• Start‑up flexibility required with availability
• Full‑time | 10‑12‑hr shifts | Mostly every other weekend OFF
• Frequent exposure to hot/cold temperatures, airborne particles, loud noise, and moving mechanical parts.
• Some desk‑based tasks in a shared air‑conditioned maintenance office.
