RN Clinical Coordinator - Nursery (Clark Regional Medical Center) – $6,000 Sign‑On Bonus
Clark Regional Medical Center in Winchester, just 18 minutes from Lexington, KY, is seeking an RN Clinical Coordinator for our Center for Women and Babies’ Nursery unit. This full‑time day‑shift role is part of an exceptionally skilled nursing team.

Job Responsibilities- Assist the Director in staffing needs, patient flow, and data collection in compliance with PI plans, identifying improvement opportunities.
- Prepare monthly schedules and contribute to staff evaluations.
- Collaborate with House Coordinators to ensure adequate staffing and supervise staff duties.
- Assist staff with patient assessment, planning nursing interventions, and timely discharge planning.
- Support staff in problem resolution.
- Help the Director assess quality of care, identify staff education needs, and evaluate staff performance.
- Make patient rounds and aid in the resolution of patient/family complaints.
- Enforce hospital rules, regulations, and standards of practice and care.
- Assist the Director in identifying current and future unit needs.
- Assume the Director’s responsibilities in their absence.
- Coordinate and/or provide total nursing care based on established standards of care appropriate for patient age and condition.
- Assign nursing personnel to provide direct patient care.
- Create a work staff to share patient‑care responsibilities.
- Encourage nurses to seek opportunities for patient‑care improvement.
- Create a culture of compassion and teamwork.
- Act as nursing manager when the primary nursing manager is on leave or out of office.
- Participate in the onboarding process for newly hired nursing staff.
- Complete continuing education courses as required.
- Attend staff meetings.
- Graduate from an accredited nursing school.
- Currently licensed as an RN in the State of Kentucky.
- ACLS certified within six months of hire.
- NRP certified within six months of hire.
- Minimum 3–5 years experience as an RN, with at least two years in a Nursery/NICU setting.
- One year of charge nurse experience.
- Proficiency with healthcare software for maintaining electronic medical records.
- Effective communication skills and ability to plan, organize, and direct others; problem‑solving ability; preference for knowledge of PI principles.
