Description

Clark Regional Medical Center is looking for a highly motivated nurse with wound care experience to fill this position.

Job Summary:

• The incumbent’s primary focus is to assist the physician to provide service to patients of all ages. Performs routine clinical and administrative duties in support of assigned area or office
• Reports to Director of Physician Practice

Essential Functions:

• Collaborates with the physician to optimize patient care - assists with performing patient assessments and treatments
• Performs basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection. Monitors and communicates changes in patient condition. Documents patient care given
• Maintains equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting. Maintains examination areas
• Performs administrative or clerical duties as assigned, including filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, phone triage and patient registration
• Exhibits exceptional customer service with patients and teammates

Required Skills:

• Requires critical thinking skills, detail oriented with decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Must be flexible with work location assignments

Education:

• Associate's Degree Nursing (ADN), required
• Bachelor's Degree Nursing (BSN), preferred

License/

Certifications:

• Valid current Kentucky RN state licensure
• Basic Life Support (BLS), required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and/or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), obtained within one year of hire
