- Quality Assurance Representative
- An automotive parts trading company based out of Winchester KYis seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Representative to join their team. This role will serve as a crucial link between their suppliers and customers, ensuring high-quality standards are met and maintained. The ideal candidate will be bilingual in Japanese and English, with a strong background in engineering or a related field.
- Receive PPAP drafts from suppliers, create PPAPs and submit to customers in a timely manner. This includes projects meeting with Sales team at least once per month.
- Monitor PPAP status and take necessary actions.
- Review existing processes to improve and avoid any quality issue in the future.
- Improve internal processes by coordination with other departments.
- Monitor all types of corrective actions to ensure timely completion and verification.
- Discuss with Management when any abnormality emerges.
- Request, confirm and file SOC evidence.
- Manage quality documents based on QMS.
- Create quality related reports and submit to Quality Manager in timely manner.
- Answer questions, resolve issues related to unconfirming parts for customers.
- Conduct a good customer service to both suppliers and customers.
- Respond to CAR/Notification from assigned customers.
- Support and assist co-workers to perform their assigned duties effectively and accurately.
- Visit clients to assure product quality and acquire quality related information and report this information to Quality supervisor and/or manager
- Monitor both service and products from suppliers.
- Acquire IMDS data from suppliers and forward it into headquarters for registration.
- Perform internal audit when required.
- Perform calibrations when needed.
- Have a regular meeting with Sales team to share any potential issue.
- Support and assist co-workers to perform their assigned duties effectively and accurately.
- Other assigned task by Quality Supervisor/ Manager.

- Primarily office-based work with minimal travel required
- Winchester Kentucky
- Salary range: $45,000 - $50,000 per year

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field preferred
- Bilingual proficiency in Japanese and English required

- Knowledge of quality management systems and ISO standards is a plus
