We are a fully integrated machining, welding, polishing, passivation, electropolishing and system assembly contract manufacturing company.
Our customers are from the following industries:
Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical, Medical, Food & Beverage, Semiconductor, and Fluid & Gas Processing.
We are seeking a Quality Control Assistant/ Inspector who will be responsible for performing quality control tests on products at various stages of production to ensure that customer specifications are being met and company quality ISO standards are followed.
Responsibilities- Works to current ISO standards to ensure quality products are produced.
- Performs first piece inspection and final inspection of components being manufactured.
- Responsible for performing dimensional and visual inspection of raw materials (using MTRs), in-process components and finished products.
- Calibrates equipment according to manufacturing standards and records data.
- Oversees and maintains current Planned Maintenance program records for machining equipment.
- Maintains the Master Document files, issuing working documents and labels, inspection records, and maintenance of lot history records.
- Assists in maintaining accurate Quality records of manufacturing drawings and purchase specifications.
- Recommends inspections and sampling techniques, quality control plans or process control procedures that will ensure production of finished products which meet quality specifications.
- Participates in ISO and customer audits.
- Makes recommendations for improving our operational processes and procedures to be more efficient if necessary.
- Maintains work areas in a safe, clean and orderly conditions and alerts Director of Manufacturing Operations or management team on any unsafe conditions.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- 1+ year of experience in manufacturing quality.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings/blueprints.
- Ability to use inspection tools (micrometers, verniers, calipers, gauges) as needed.
- Ability to lift maximum of 50 pounds.
