Travel RN - Telemetry - Progressive Care Unit

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Cardiac Telemetry Progressive Care Unit position requiring an active MA license and Epic experience.

• Active MA RN license required in hand
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• ACLS (AHA) and NIHSS certifications preferred
• Must be able to titrate pressors
• Level 1 trauma experience preferred, required for candidates without prior travel experience
• Epic EMR experience required
• Copy of current flu vaccination required during flu season

• Work in the Cardiac Telemetry Progressive Care Unit (PCU) of a hospital environment
• Patient ratios between 1:3 and 1:5
• 12-hour night shift schedule, 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend required (Fri, Sat, Sun for nights)
• Floating required to ED holds, inpatient holds, PACU, and other boarding units in 4-hour blocks while on shift
• Uses Epic EMR system
• Weekly assignment start dates on Mondays
• Provide progressive care nursing for cardiac telemetry patients while supporting boarding and overflow units as needed
• Day one pass/fail testing administered, including Tele/ECG and Medication tests
  
  Relias practice tests available for preparation
• COVID vaccine plus booster and flu vaccine required, with medical exemptions allowed
• Candidates must live within a 50-mile radius; local candidates not accepted
• Previous BILH employees (travel, perm, or per diem) must have a minimum 6-month break before returning to any BILH facility
• First-time travelers considered only if they meet Level 1 trauma experience requirement
