American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Progressive Care/Telemetry night shift position requiring an active MA license and the ability to titrate pressors.

• Cardiac Telemetry Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting in a hospital environment
• 12-hour night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend required (Fri, Sat, Sun for nights)
• Patient ratios between 1:3 and 1:5
• Required to float to ED holds, inpatient holds, PACU and other boarding units
• Floating occurs in 4-hour blocks while on shift
• Epic EMR experience required

• Active MA RN license required in hand
• BLS-AHA certification required
• ACLS-AHA and NIHSS certifications preferred
• Must be able to titrate pressors
• Level 1 trauma experience preferred; required for candidates without prior travel experience
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must provide proof of Flu vaccination (during flu season)
• COVID vaccine plus booster required (medical exemptions allowed)

• Day one pass/fail testing administered, including Tele/ECG and Medication tests
• Relias practice tests available for preparation
• Must be separated from Beth Israel Lahey Health (any facility, in any capacity) for a minimum of 6 months prior to consideration
• Weekly start dates occur on Mondays
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
• First-time travelers may be considered if they meet Level 1 trauma requirements
