Be responsible for all patient registration functions;
Answer incoming calls and place outgoing calls through the PBX and beeper system;
Direct patients/families, salesperson, clergy, etc., to their destination in the hospital;
Obtain and verify patient demographic and insurance information during the registration process;
Assess the patient's financial status, verify all account information, obtain signatures on all required hospital and regulatory forms, etc.
