As a Surgical Technologist
, you will play a vital role in ensuring safe and efficient surgical procedures. This position is responsible for the preparation, setup, and post-procedure care of all supplies, equipment, and instruments needed for each case. You will assist the surgeon during operations, maintain a sterile field, and help ensure the highest level of patient care and surgical precision.

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program or equivalent related experience/training.
• Strong critical thinking, sound judgment, and the ability to perform effectively under pressure.
• Must demonstrate professionalism, emotional maturity, and flexibility.
• Certifications:
  
  AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire; must meet one of the following per Tennessee Code Annotated 68-5-101:
  • Hold current national certification from NBSTSA
  • Complete a CAAHEP-accredited Surgical Technology program
  • Complete an approved Armed Forces training program
  • Successfully pass the NBSTSA certification exam
• Must complete 15 hours of continuing education annually to remain qualified for employment.
