Overview
Southern Tennessee Medical Center - Sitter/Sitter Companion (PRN, as needed) - Days (168422)
Sitter/Sitter Companion services to hospitals and other facilities requiring the services of a patient sitter. Responsible for providing close and/or continuous observation of adolescent, adult and geriatric patients who may be at risk for adverse events such as falls, self-injury or harm to others. This is considered a PRN, on-call position.
Qualifications- High school graduate or equivalent required.
- Preferred that training classes for nursing assistant be completed or in progress.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Minimum of 12 months experience in a medical environment preferred.
