Certified Medical Assistant – Southern TN Pulmonary Critical Care & Sleep Medicine (Full-Time) Job Summary

Join our growing outpatient team at Southern Tennessee Pulmonary Critical Care & Sleep Medicine. The Certified Medical Assistant provides both clinical and administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations and exceptional patient care.

• Assist providers with patient assessments, treatments, and procedures.
• Perform basic diagnostic tests and specimen collection.
• Monitor and communicate changes in patient condition and document all care provided.
• Maintain equipment, supplies, and exam areas.
• Support front-office functions such as scheduling, registration, and data entry.

• Education:
  
  High school diploma or equivalent; graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program required.
• License/Certification: CCMA, CMA, or RMA required;
  Basic Life Support (BLS) within 60 days of hire.
• Skills:
  
  Critical thinking, sound judgment, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
