American Traveler is hiring an experienced Emergency Department RN for a night shift (7P-7A) travel assignment requiring a TN or compact RN license and at least 5 years of ED experience.
Requirements- Active RN license (TN or Compact) required
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Minimum of 5 years of ED nursing experience required
- Strong teamwork and communication skills required
- Willingness to work in a busy ED setting
- 13-bay Emergency Department with over 15,000 annual visits in an acute and skilled care hospital
- Patient ratio of 1:4
- Treats all patient populations including geriatric, adult, and pediatric patients
- Common diagnoses include kidney stones, ACS, stroke, sprains, fractures, and AKI
- Uses B450 monitors and Baxter pumps
- Documents in Meditech EHR
- Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Every other weekend required
- Floating required within scope and skillset
- Positive attitude and strong personality fit valued by the unit
- Any scrub color accepted, but attire branded with another facility's name is not permitted
- Candidates must live 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for travel assignment
- Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
- Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time
- Weekly orientation held on Mondays
