We are working with a highly regarded, leading firm of Chartered Accountants and Business Advisers with a strong presence across the UK. Their Winchester office is continuing to grow and is now looking to appoint an Audit Senior to strengthen the audit team.

Responsibilities
You will play a key role in the delivery of audit assignments, working closely with Managers and Partners while taking increasing responsibility for your own portfolio.
Key duties will include:
Leading and executing audit fieldwork, primarily on-site at client premises
Planning audits, identifying key risk areas, and ensuring work is fully and accurately documented
Preparing statutory financial statements from client records
Completing audits for Manager and Partner review
Supervising, coaching, and supporting junior team members
Building strong, long-term relationships with clients
Contributing to the achievement of team revenue and profitability targets
Requirements
ACA or ACCA qualified, but part-qualified candidates with the necessary experience, nearing the end of their studies will also be considered.
At least 2 years’ audit experience within a UK accountancy practice
Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS, and auditing standards
Experience leading audits.
High attention to detail with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
Confident communicator with strong client-facing skills
Experience supervising or mentoring junior staff
Benefits
Salary circa £40,000 - £47,000, depending on experience and qualification status
