Job Description & How to Apply Below
This isn't a quiet admin role where you'll spend all day doing the same thing. You'll be right at the centre of a busy sales operation, supporting the sales team and Directors and making sure that customer requests, orders, information and actions are dealt with quickly and accurately . Emails. Calls. Whats Apps. Customer requests. Salespeople needing information. Directors asking for something urgently.
Your job is to bring order to all of it . What will you be doing? You'll provide day-to-day support across the commercial team, including:
Managing customer enquiries and requests Processing and coordinating customer orders Supporting the field sales team with pricing, product information, samples and follow-ups Preparing spreadsheets, reports, presentations and commercial documents Maintaining accurate customer, pricing and product information Keeping track of actions and making sure nothing gets forgotten Coordinating meetings and customer requirements Liaising with Sales, Finance, Logistics and suppliers Using Excel to maintain trackers, analyse information and produce reports Spotting problems early and helping find practical solutions Most importantly, you'll take ownership .
If something lands with you, you'll make sure it gets finished rather than waiting for somebody to chase you. Who are we looking for? You'll already have good administrative experience gained within a busy commercial environment . You'll be highly organised, confident juggling multiple priorities and able to work at pace without sacrificing accuracy. You'll also need strong Excel and Microsoft 365 skills , excellent attention to detail and confident written and telephone communication skills.
But personality is just as important. We're looking for someone who's proactive, dependable and naturally organised . Someone who sees what needs doing and gets on with it. Someone who can distinguish between what's urgent, what's important and what can wait. If colleagues describe you as "the person who keeps everything organised" , you'll probably enjoy this role. Why join?
You'll be joining an ambitious, entrepreneurial food service business that's growing quickly. That means plenty of variety, responsibility from day one, exposure to different areas of the business and the opportunity to develop your role as the company continues to grow. £28,000 salary Nottingham Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm 37.5 hours per week Office based with on-site parking If you're exceptionally organised, enjoy being busy and take real satisfaction from getting things done properly, we'd love to hear from you.
