A leading, multi-disciplinary construction and property consultancy is seeking an ambitious Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their Winchester office. This is a fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor eager to gain diverse project experience while progressing towards chartership in a supportive and collaborative team environment.

The Assistant Quantity Surveyor Role

The successful Assistant Quantity Surveyor will support the delivery of a variety of projects ranging in value from £1m to £50m. Projects span across residential, commercial, education, healthcare, infrastructure and PBSA sectors, offering the Assistant Quantity Surveyor a strong foundation in both pre- and post-contract cost management.

With access to structured APC support, in-house mentoring and defined development pathways, this role is ideally suited to an Assistant Quantity Surveyor who is working towards MRICS status or keen to begin that journey.

The Assistant Quantity Surveyor – Requirements

• A successful track record working on projects from inception to completion
• Previous Quantity Surveying experience within a UK Consultancy is a MUST (ideally 1-2 years minimum)
• A RICS Accredited degree, ideally BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying
• Basic Pre and Post contract experience
• A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn
• Strong communication skills and confident in client-facing environments
