Site Manager

Project Overview We are seeking an experienced Freelance Fit-Out Site Manager to oversee a internal warehouse fit-out project in Leeds. The project includes full internal works such as changing rooms, toilets, reception areas, and associated finishes, managing all trades on site.

Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day site operations for a full internal fit-out project Oversee and coordinate 15-20 operatives on site Ensure all works are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard Maintain regular, proactive communication on site progress Review and interpret drawings, ensuring works align with design specifications Liaise with architects, clients, and subcontractors to ensure smooth delivery Take a hands-on approach to site management (not desk-based) Report into the project lead and provide regular updates Maintain shared documentation and basic reporting via email and Word Requirements Proven experience as a Site Manager on fit-out projects (ideally similar scope) Strong communication and coordination skills Reliable and able to work autonomously on a remote project Proactive, detail-oriented, and site-focused approach Certifications SMSTS (essential) CSCS Card (essential) First Aid (essential)
