Assistant Quantity Surveyor – Winchester
- £30,000 – £35,000
Excellent opportunity for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join a highly regarded construction consultancy, based in their Winchester office. They’ve experienced exponential growth in the team and office and are now looking for a graduate to join their cost management team. They can provide full support towards APC, with the opportunity to work on varied projects.
Role & Responsibilities of the Assistant Quantity Surveyor- Preparation of cost estimates
- Advise on costs involved in building projects
- Evaluation of costs and advise on alternative proposals
- Advise on contract arrangements and conditions under which building will be constructed
- Evaluation of tenders and reporting thereon
- Provide advice on implications of different construction methods, materials etc
- Prepare bills of quantities
Experience of the Assistant Quantity Surveyor
- Relevant degree in a surveying, or similar RICS accredited course
- Practical quantity surveying experience working for either a construction consultancy or contractor
- A desire to becoming an MRICS Chartered Quantity Surveyor
- £30k-£35k
- Full support and training towards APC
