What you'll be doingAs a Graduate Quantity Surveyor, you'll play an important role in the commercial management of major infrastructure and construction projects. Working alongside experienced commercial professionals and project teams, you'll apply your academic knowledge in a practical environment while developing the commercial, analytical, and professional skills needed for a successful career in quantity surveying.
You’ll gain experience across cost management, procurement, contract administration, forecasting, risk management, and project controls while contributing to the successful delivery of projects. Through a structured graduate development programme, you'll develop a strong understanding of commercial management and build the experience needed to work towards professional accreditation.
Who we're looking forFor Graduates with a degree in a relevant field, our programme offers formal training and on-the-job learning, with a strong focus on career progression and growth opportunities. It’s designed to help you transition into your chosen field and build a successful career path.
To be eligible, you must obtain a minimum 2:2 Honours degree before starting the role.
This role involves regular site-based visits, including travel on-site and between locations. Before joining Balfour Beatty, you must hold a full UK driver's license.
