Overview of the Role

Architect job in Winchester for a technically confident Architect to lead projects, support junior team members and deliver high-quality work from a growing regional studio. The role offers flexible working, mentoring and the opportunity to contribute to purposeful projects within a collaborative practice environment.

Practice & Project Information

This established architecture and design practice works across architecture, interiors, landscape, master planning, planning and graphic design. The Winchester studio provides a supportive setting where design quality, technical delivery and responsible practice are valued equally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Run projects through key design and delivery stages, ensuring quality, coordination and programme requirements are met.
  • Lead and support project teams, providing clear direction and technical guidance.
  • Produce and coordinate detailed drawings, specifications, reports and technical information.
  • Work closely with clients, consultants and contractors to maintain strong project communication.
  • Contribute to design stage risk assessments and robust project documentation.
  • Use Revit to support BIM processes and wider digital workflows.
Required Skills and Experience
  • ARB registered Architect with 5+ years’ post-qualification experience.
  • Strong technical knowledge gained within a design and delivery-focused practice.
  • Proven experience running projects and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
  • Confident preparing technical detailing, drawings, specifications and reports.
  • Good working knowledge of Revit and willingness to engage with BIM processes.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
