Position: tutor (Temporary)
We are seeking a patient and experienced tutor to support a Year 13 student with Maths and English.

About the Student

Year 13 student requiring extra support in Maths and English.

Has ADHD and SEMH needs, and struggles to remain engaged in education.

Most importantly, requires a tutor who can help build a positive adult relationship alongside academic support.

Requirements

Experience teaching Maths and English at secondary/post‑16 level.

Strong background in supporting students with SEN, ADHD, and SEMH.

Ability to deliver clear, structured, and engaging lessons.

Patient, empathetic, and able to adapt teaching methods to suit the student's needs.

In-person tuition only

Details

Schedule:

2 hours per week, split into 1 hour per day across 2 days.

Timing:
Flexible days, between 10am-12pm.

Focus:

1 hour of Maths tuition.

1 hour of English tuition.

Building confidence, engagement, and a positive learning relationship.

Ideal Candidate

Skilled at breaking down concepts into manageable steps.

Able to motivate and encourage a student who finds it difficult to engage.

Committed to supporting both academic progress and personal development
