** University Centre Sparsholt is looking for someone with a passion in fisheries and aquaculture to join our fishery and aquatics provision for approximately 3 days per week.
** About the role
** The successful candidate will be part of the friendly and ambitious Higher Education team, and will teach across our degree courses in the Aquaculture, Fisheries and Marine subject area. This academic role will involve delivering both taught and practical sessions alongside supporting and tutoring our students.

Our teaching and research take place in our Aquatics Research and Conservation Centre, as well as our Salmonid Rearing and Trials Centre, which allows us to provide industry leading facilities.
** What we’re looking for
** In particular we would love to hear from applicants with knowledge or experience in salmonids, aquaculture, marine environments and ecology, although candidates with experience in broader areas would also be of interest.

The post holder should ideally be educated to at least Master’s level in a relevant subject area, or have equivalent experience within industry.

Must also be able to provide proof of passing English and maths with a grade C/4 or above at GCSE level, (or equivalent).The post holder will ideally hold a recognised teaching qualification, or be willing to attain this qualification through study provided by Sparsholt. All staff will engage in CPD and scholarly activity, and there are opportunities for personal development appropriate to the role.
