Job detailsHours: Part‑time – 3 to 4 days / 18 to 24 hours per week available (6 hours per day). See work pattern below.
Salary: £24,693.00 per annum* (full‑time, pro‑rata for part‑time contracts)
Annual inflationary pay increase expected from 1 April 2026 – new increased rate TBC
Contract: Permanent – both annual and term‑time only available.
Line manager: Creative Programme Producer, Planetarium Officer, or Creative Learning Producer.
Holiday: 33 days including bank holidays (full‑time). Option to buy/sell some leave and gain additional days for continuous service after four years. The post‑holder will be expected to work bank holidays.

Work pattern: We are currently looking for two new Inspirers to join our talented team, with contracts available for either 3 or 4 days (working 6 hours per day). Usual work hours will be 9am‑3pm (or 3.30pm with a 30 minute unpaid break). We also welcome applicants seeking term‑time only working. Please indicate in your application the hours and days you are looking for and any restrictions to your availability.
Our Inspirers support a dynamic programme that runs across weekdays, weekends, daytime, and evening hours. Rotas are published a month in advance, and time off in lieu or paid overtime may be offered for specific training sessions or additional activities.
