A newly opened Secondary School in Stockbridge is looking for a dedicated and flexible Substitute Teacher to be a part of their team!

This opportunity is well suited to Early Career Teachers wishing to gain further experience, experienced teachers seeking flexible working arrangements, or educators looking to maintain their teaching practice while reducing workload.

The school is seeking adaptable and enthusiastic educators to join their team on an ad-hoc basis, providing cover during periods of staff absence across a range of subjects.

As a substitute teacher, you will be responsible for supervising pre-prepared lessons, maintaining a calm and purposeful classroom environment, and ensuring that students remain engaged in their learning. You will also be expected to follow the school’s behaviour and safeguarding policies, collect completed work at the end of lessons, and provide feedback to teaching staff where appropriate.

This school has not yet received an Ofsted inspection due to its newness; however, it does offer:

This is a flexible position, with full-time and part-time opportunities available on an ad hoc basis, an immediate start and competitive daily pay rate. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
