We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join a mainstream secondary school in the Winchester area.

The Role

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teaching and pastoral staff to provide tailored support to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.

Supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) within lessons and around the school
Working 1:1 with students who have Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)
Delivering small group interventions and targeted learning support
Assisting students in accessing the curriculum across a range of subjects
Encouraging student engagement, confidence, and independence
Supporting literacy, numeracy, and emotional wellbeing
Helping to manage behaviour positively and consistently
Building strong and trusting relationships with students and staff
Promoting a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
