As a Trainee History & Religious Studies Teacher, you will benefit from a structured school-based training programme designed to develop outstanding classroom practitioners. The successful trainee will work towards QTS while earning a salary.

• Full‑time salaried teacher training position

• Salary of £28,000 per annum
• One‑year route to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Teach History and Religious Studies across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Receive expert coaching, training and mentoring from experienced practitioners
• Develop classroom practice through a blend of teaching responsibility and professional development

• Degree in History, Religious Studies, Theology, Philosophy or a related Humanities subject (2:1 or above preferred)
• A or A

• Previous experience working with young people is advantageous but not essential
