My client is looking for an ambitious Geotechnical / Geo-Environmental Engineer to join their growing Winchester team, giving you the opportunity to strengthen both your technical expertise and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities- Managing projects from site works through to delivery
- Coordinating investigations, stakeholders, and outputs
- Producing and reviewing technical reports and designs
- Supporting quotes and technical proposals
- Leading client meetings and acting as key contact
- Supervising site activities and maintaining quality
- Mentoring junior engineers and supporting development
- A degree in Engineering Geology, Civil Engineering, Environmental Geology or similar
- Progression towards Chartership
- Experience with site investigations and foundation design
- Strong understanding of soil mechanics
- Knowledge of contaminated land (preferred)
- Commercial awareness and workload management skills
- Strong communication and client‑facing ability
- £30,000 - £40,000 salary (dependent on experience)
- 22 days holiday plus Bank Holidays (increasing with service)
