Site Engineer Groundworks & Civil Engineering

HWM Group is looking for an experienced Site Engineer to join our growing civil engineering team. Working across a variety of groundworks and infrastructure projects throughout the South of the UK, you will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, accurately, on programme, and to the highest quality standards. • Setting out and surveying for a range of groundworks and civil engineering projects.
• Working from CAD drawings, engineering drawings and digital models.
• Coordinating site engineering activities to meet contract programme requirements.
• Ensuring company procedures are followed during all setting out operations.
• Communicating technical information effectively to site teams, operatives and subcontractors.
• Carrying out and recording as‑built surveys.
• Maintaining high standards of quality, accuracy and health & safety on site.

• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Site Engineer within the UK civil engineering or groundworks sector.
• Experience using modern surveying and setting‑out equipment.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings and construction methods.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• HNC, HND or Degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Valid CSCS Card.
• Recognised Health & Safety qualification.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Thorough understanding of UK civil engineering and groundworks practices.

£45,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
