Civil Engineering Technician

We are looking for a Civil Engineering Technician to support the delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects through the production of high-quality drawings, models, schedules, and technical information. Working alongside engineers and project managers in our Winchester office, you will contribute to the design and development of critical water sector assets and infrastructure improvements. Responsibilities Prepare engineering drawings and BIM models.

Produce general arrangement, detailed design, and construction drawings. Assist in the coordination of multidisciplinary design information. Develop 3D models using industry-standard software. Support design reviews and drawing checks. Maintain project documentation and drawing registers. Assist with site surveys and condition assessments. Support engineers in the production of reports and technical deliverables. Ensure compliance with company BIM standards and quality procedures.

Requirements Essential HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering. Experience using AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D. Understanding of engineering drawing standards. Good communication and organisational skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a project team.

Desirable Experience within the water sector. Working knowledge of Revit, BIM 360, or similar platforms. Membership of Eng Tech, ICE or a relevant professional institution. Experience producing drainage, pipeline, infrastructure, or treatment works drawings. What We're Looking For Detail-oriented and quality focused. Strong problem-solving skills.
