Accounts Assistant

Our client are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Assistant to join our finance team. This role is essential in supporting financial operations, ensuring accuracy in financial records, and assisting with various accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a good understanding of financial procedures. This is a part time position working 3 days a week in their office in Winchester.

Duties Main point of contact for ledger inquiries and archiving requests to our off-site provider Client Account cheques in and out Office Account cheques in and out Posting to the case management and accounts software (Partner for Windows) Checking completion statements Billing Qualifications Proven experience or relevant qualification in finance, accounting, or related field is desirable Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel;

familiarity with accounting software is advantageous Good numerical skills and the ability to analyse data accurately Effective communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Knowledge of basic financial principles and procedures is preferred This position offers valuable experience within a supportive environment that encourages professional development.
