Trustee​/Treasurer

We are looking for a committed and experienced individual to join our Board of Trustees as Treasurer. As a registered charitable company, our community centre supports local people through a range of services and activities to improve life outcomes for all.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor the financial position of the charity and advise the Board on financial matters.

Chair our Finance Committee which meets quarterly

Ensure proper records are kept and that accounts meet legal and regulatory requirements.

Support the preparation of budgets, financial reports, and annual accounts.

Support the work of the outsourced accounting agency and, when necessary, liaise with staff responsible for day-to-day financial administration.

Contribute to the overall strategic direction and good governance of the Centre as an active Trustee.
