Contract Type: 12 months temporary contract (Maternity Cover) / Full time
The Home ownership Team are looking for an organised and customer-focused Home ownership Officer to support the management of our Shared Ownership, Leasehold, Right to Buy and Private Residential Lettings services.
The role includes administering Right to Buy applications, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and statutory timescales, managing service charge processes for leaseholders and shared owners, providing day-to-day leasehold and home ownership management services, interpreting lease agreements, and supporting income collection and arrears recovery activities.
About YouWe seek a positive, motivated team player with strong organisational skills, attention to detail and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service. You will be confident working to deadlines, maintaining accurate records and using IT systems, including Microsoft Excel and Word.
Ideally, You Will Have- Knowledge of home ownership services, including service charges and Section 20 consultations.
- Experience in a customer-facing or social housing environment (minimum two years preferred).
- Good numeracy, literacy and communication skills.
- The ability to work flexibly and effectively under pressure.
- The successful candidate must be able to meet the travel requirements of the role. This post is subject to a DBS check.
